Heading East

Ruth and I will be driving east for three weeks, beginning July 29. We will make a quick stop in Boston to leave some things we are taking to Brian and Amy, then head north to Canada. From August 1 through August 5 we will visit with a college and seminary classmate of mine in Nova Scotia. On the way back to Boston, we will overnight in Bar Harbor, Maine, and arrive in Boston mid-day August 6. We will cavort in Boston, as well as help Amy and Brian with some of the preparations for their babies (like painting, doing some “fixings” around the house, etc.). Ruth and I will drive back to Cincinnatti, to arrive there on August 15. Ruth will complete some work there and drive bake to Louisville, and I will go on to eastern Tennessee, where I am to lead a workshop on August 17. I will return to Louisville the next day.

While we are gone, Brian and Amy will be our best contacts. Their phone is 781-894-5611. We can also be reached through Ruth’s office VoiceMail, 888-800-1619, and she checks it once a day. Her cell phone is 502-645-4243.

Along the way I will keep a journal, as on other trips, and post some notes from Brian’s and Amy’s, as well as when I return home in mid-August.
